Talking insomnia #16: Alex has sudden awareness when transitioning to sleep

Just as your brain is about to transition into sleep you can become aware of this and get kicked back into wakefulness.

Alex tried focusing on nothing and deep breathing to make this stop happening which didn’t work. He finally found a way to stop it that, it turns out, may have kept him from taking the final step towards not having these events at all.
